Last season, Nelyubov played for Parma in all its 24 games and averaged 8 points, 3.4 rebounds, 0.9 assists per 16 minutes on the court.

He also performed spectacularly:

Alexey Savrasenko, General Manager of PBC Lokomotiv Kuban:

- Ivan is a high-quality Russian center. He should boost Lokomotiv’s playing under the rim. He showed good results last season in Parma. And now we expect progress in our club and an ability to compete for the time on the court from him.

Sasa Obradovic, Head Coach of PBC Lokomotiv Kuban:

- Ivan spent a nice season in Parma where he played on two positions. He is an experienced center who will be very useful in the paint. We are glad to get him. He will have chances to play. We’ll try to unfold his potential.

Ivan Nelyubov, Center of PBC Lokomotiv Kuban:

- The transfer to Lokomotiv is a big challenge because everybody always expects big wins from the club. And there is serious competition inside the team.
