However, Zubkov and Vougioukas managed to reduce it to 5 points, and later Janning’s shots let Lokomotiv take the lead – 38:40 after the first half of the game.

Loko wins the game and goes to quarterfinals of EuroCup where it will play against Zenit.

Sasa Obradovic, Head Coach of PBC Lokomotiv Kuban:
- Before the game we knew that we were going to be first in the group and nothing would change in calculations for later on. So we were sloppy in the beginning, especially in the first quarter, when Murcia played great basketball and hurt us a lot. We didn’t have a big reaction. Changing defense maybe disturbed them and helped us find our rhythm in offense. We deserved to win and are looking forward to the quarterfinals.
