Loko started the game with a burst 5:0. But UNICS managed to force back Lokomotiv and showed its own burst – 10:2. As a result, there was a tied score, but Joaquim Colom shot 3 and let UNICS stay a leader in the first quarter – 14:16.
In the second period, Dmitry Khvostov and Rayan Broekhoff made Loko take an advantage, but soon UNICS returned its leadership – Evgeny Voronov and Orlando Johnson scored 3-pointers each. In the end of the quarter, the score was 31:37 in favor of UNICS.
After a break, only Langford and Johnson had been scoring in UNICS for 8 minutes. They created a 13-point advantage. In the mid of the third quarter, Janning shot three 3-pointers in a row. It seemed UNICS didn’t expect it. And even a timeout by Evgeny Pahutin didn’t make it right. At the end of the quarter, Loko had an advantage again.
The fourth quarter ended with a buzzer beater by Dmitry Khvostov – 75:64. It’s a great win!
