26-year old American forward Kevin Jones signed a 1+1-contract with Loko. Jones spent the last season in Partisan Belgrade where he reached the finale of the Serbian Superleague (12.3 points, 1.2 assists, 0.9 block-shots for 24 minutes in average) and the finale of the Korac Cup. Jones played 19 games in the Adriatic League and had 16.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, 0.9 assists per game. According to results of the season, Kevin was found the most effective player of the team.

Fotios Katsikaris, Head Coach of PBC Lokomotiv Kuban:

- Kevin outstands due to his passion for the game. Energy and a desire to win are about him. He can play at two position, even though usually he plays the role of a center. However, his mobility, activeness on boards, his nice downtown shots enable him to be a swingman. Moreover, I believe that Kevin hasn’t reached a peak of his abilities yet – he will progress together with the team and can surprise anyone in Eurocup and the United League of VTB.

Kevin Jones, a player of PBC Lokomotiv Kuban:

- I come to a new team and want to make a significant contribution to its successes. Lokomotiv is a fascinating story of success and a wonderful organization. Last year Loko got to Euroleague Final Four, and it is important for me to maintain the strong competitive spirit. My main goal is to play as hard as I can together with the team. I believe it will bring us to big wins.

Alexey Savrasenko, Managing Director of PBC Lokomotiv Kuban:

- We are glad to sign a contract with Kevin Jones. He is a player who meets Lokomotiv’s way of playing. He is both good under the rim and from the distance, has a good downtown shot, and can encourage his partners. Last season Kevin was very good in Partisan in the Adriatic League, getting 16 points and 8 rebounds in average, we hope he will use playing in Loko as a chance to show his worth at a new level.
